Wikipedia's logo is an unfinished globe made of puzzle pieces.
The Wikipedia logo is a sphere built from jigsaw pieces, several of them missing near the top. Each piece is inscribed with a character from a different script — Latin, Cyrillic, Japanese, Devanagari and others — standing for the project’s many language editions.
The missing pieces are intentional, a reminder that Wikipedia is always a work in progress. Early versions of the logo contained mistakes in some of the glyphs, which were corrected in a 2010 redesign.
